Your website should work for everyone who visits it.

If your site isn't accessible, you're excluding real people — and exposing your organization to real risk. We help Maine businesses and nonprofits build websites that welcome every visitor, meet ADA and WCAG standards, and protect you from costly legal action.

Most websites fail basic accessibility tests — and the consequences are growing.

Website accessibility isn't optional anymore. Courts, customers, and communities expect it. Here's what's at stake when your website leaves people behind.

Legal Exposure Is Increasing

ADA-related web accessibility lawsuits have surged year over year. Small businesses and nonprofits aren't exempt — plaintiffs' attorneys are actively targeting organizations of all sizes with demand letters and federal complaints.

You're Turning People Away

One in four adults in the U.S. lives with a disability. When your forms can't be navigated by keyboard, your images have no descriptions, or your contrast is too low to read — those visitors leave and don't come back.

Your SEO and Reputation Suffer

Accessibility and search engine optimization share the same foundation: clean structure, descriptive content, and semantic markup. An inaccessible site signals neglect to both search engines and the people who find you.

We understand the challenge — and we know how to solve it.

You shouldn't need to become an accessibility expert to have an accessible website. That's our job.

We Get It

Accessibility standards can feel overwhelming — WCAG 2.1, Section 508, ADA Title III — it's a lot of jargon for someone trying to run a business or serve a community. You want to do the right thing, but you need a clear path forward without the confusion.

You're in Good Hands

  • Hands-on accessibility remediation across WordPress, Divi, and custom-built sites
  • Deep expertise in WCAG 2.1 AA compliance standards
  • Experience with assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice control
  • Trusted by Maine schools, nonprofits, and growing businesses

Three steps to a website that works for everyone.

We make the process simple and transparent so you always know exactly where you stand.

Audit Your Site

We run a comprehensive accessibility audit combining automated scanning tools with hands-on manual testing — including screen reader navigation, keyboard-only testing, and color contrast analysis. You get a clear, prioritized report of every issue.

Fix What's Broken

Our team remediates each issue directly in your site — from missing alt text and broken form labels to focus management and ARIA landmarks. No vague recommendations; we do the work.

Stay Compliant

Accessibility isn't a one-time fix. We provide ongoing monitoring, periodic re-audits, and training for your team so new content stays accessible as your site evolves.

Two very different futures for your website.

🚫 Without Accessibility

  • Vulnerable to ADA demand letters and lawsuits
  • Losing visitors who can't use your site
  • Falling behind in search rankings
  • Reputation risk if a complaint goes public
  • Scrambling to fix issues under legal pressure

Answers to what we hear most often.

Does the ADA really apply to websites?
Yes. Federal courts have increasingly ruled that websites are places of public accommodation under ADA Title III. The Department of Justice has affirmed that web accessibility is covered, and many states have additional requirements. Nonprofits receiving federal funding also have obligations under Section 508.

Can't I just install an accessibility overlay or plugin?
Overlay tools (like AccessiBe, UserWay, or AudioEye widgets) don't fix the underlying code issues on your site. Accessibility experts, advocacy organizations, and legal professionals widely agree that overlays provide a false sense of compliance and can actually make the experience worse for assistive technology users. Real compliance requires fixing your site's HTML, CSS, and content directly.

How long does remediation take?
It depends on the size and complexity of your site. A typical small business or nonprofit site (10–30 pages) can be audited and remediated within 2–4 weeks. Larger or more complex sites may take longer. We'll give you a clear timeline after the initial audit.

What's the difference between WCAG levels A, AA, and AAA?
WCAG 2.1 has three conformance levels. Level A covers the most basic requirements. Level AA is the widely accepted standard and the target for legal compliance — it's what courts, regulators, and best practices call for. Level AAA is the highest standard but isn't typically required for most organizations. We target WCAG 2.1 AA as the baseline.

I already got a demand letter. Can you help?
We can help you remediate your site quickly and thoroughly, and provide documentation of the work completed — which your attorney can use to demonstrate good-faith efforts toward compliance. The sooner you start, the stronger your position. We are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice, but we can get your site into compliance while your legal team handles the rest.
