Building MaineRaffle
In 2024, we saw an opportunity to help Maine's nonprofit community. Raffles are a proven fundraising tool, but running them online was complicated — the regulations are strict, and no platform existed that was both compliant and easy to use.
So we built MaineRaffle: Maine's first licensed internet raffle platform. We worked directly with the State's Gambling Control Unit to ensure full compliance, then designed a system that makes it simple for any nonprofit to run a professional online raffle.
Today, MaineRaffle serves over 300 nonprofit organizations across the state. It's a perfect example of what we do: identify a real problem, then build technology that actually solves it.
